In for one for my friend, theirs got stolen! I remember when these were $35 at BF last year, except they had all the colors at that time. Wish this was black, that's a really nice color for these things, but they can deal with red for the price. Thanks, OP. |

the $35 BF was from bestbuy instore. BB FREAKED when the next day I tried to exchange a pink one (that was the only one in stock on the sale day) for a black one; they were a different SKU and when I did the exchange (I was told it was no problem), they charged me the difference between the $35 I had paid and the $70 price of the black player...when I said I'd keep the pink one, the cashier told me that I might as well keep the black as I had now returned the pink and they couldn't match yesterday's price. 20 minutes later a manager figured out how to do it so I got the black at the sale price. The reason for this story: don't expect to be able to take the red one into a retailer and swap it out for a different color with any degree of ease. |

Thanks OP! Wanted one for vacation leaving this Sunday, so I was able to price match with worst buy and do in store p/u. Didn't get the extra 5% off, but I didn't pay for 2 day shipping either. |

Amazon still has it. I have a blue one from some time ago...was kicking myself for not getting it at BB on BF, but it's a nice little player. Wish the battery lasted a bit longer, though. |

Ordered 2 of these on the 18th at the sale price. Wondering where they were, I checked on the order...POOF! It's gone. No record of it ever having taken place. No cancellation notice, nothing. |
They sell through eBay and I purchased it from there. My order still says status: "Sent to Warehouse" after about a week and a half. I finally sent them an e-mail and they say that it is on backorder and their distributor doesn't have an ETA when they'll get more in stock. *insert curse word here* No courtesy e-mails, no cancellation notice, no nothing. I wonder how long it would have been, if ever, for them to send me some sort of update. Bastards, I hate Buy.com. Buy.com can suck it. Why do they sell items when they have no clue if they can get items in stock? It said: quantity 750 available when I bit. What a lie. |
