How to spot fake Lacoste polo

The Lacoste Polo show on the site picture looks fake.

mainly XL and XXLs..

outside of L and XL, they have red in M and navy in small right now.

Nice deal, unfortunately I just bought 4 polos from RL on a previous deal and then got a few of the 12 dollar kirkland ones at costco. I may be saturated.

still cost way too much for me. I would just get one from Aeropostale for like $13.

now it seems its only XL and XXL. not my size, but green nonetheless.

XL/XXL Red
XL/XXL Navy

In 4 1 XL navy, if it's too big I'll feed it to the alligators.

The discussion in sd. where you ripped from is this likely fake.

How to spot fake Lacoste polo

Pretty much from the picture on that site, the buttons don't look right and the Crocodile Patch location doesn't look right, etc.

I believe Lacoste goes by number not size.

I have both real and fake lacoste, and the shirt in the stock photo is definitely fake. Trust me, once you see a fake and a real croc next to each other it's easy to spot a fake. That tail is waaaay too rounded to be real. They always have pointed tails.

Thanks OP. After I go to Olive Garden for the never ending pasta bowl, I'll be ready for the XXL red polo. Looking good.

How can you tell if the shirt in the picture is fake? Is your computer able to increase the picture's resolution? Also, that "how to spot a fake Lacoste" website, while the info is generally true, doesn't nearly encompass all that's happening. First, Lacoste and eBay ID'ed numerous different crocodile patches. Many other companies use mother of pearl buttons, which are fairly readily available and Chinese counterfeits use virtually identical ones. Also, that stupid button/croc location is lame. counterfeitors aren't idiots. They know where to stitch the croc.

I have several Lacoste shirts and depending on the line, the crocs are different, buttons are different, and many other things are different. Lacoste uses different manufacturers in Peru and their inhouse France shops. They have different lines with different quality control.

RockBottomGolf may be selling knockoffs, who knows. But don't jump to conclusions based on your opinions without knowing the truth. But Lacoste shirts have come down to $30. Macy's recently sold off Lacostes for $35 each. I doubt they'd ever sell counterfeit. Lacoste outlets sometimes come down to $35 during clearances as well.

Lacoste shirts are labeled with 4, 5, 6, etc, but the hang tag/price tag says S, M, L sometimes.

For the price of one Lacoste shirt at a department store, for $80 bucks, I got 2 Lacoste, 1 Callaway shirts, and a free one dozen Srixon golf Balls. A fantastic deal!

Received my white polo today. Have not compared it to my real ones as I am at work- one thing that is disconcerting is the clear Lacoste bag that it came in references "Gangjia Brand" in tiny print. A google search of "Gangjia" reveals- gasp- China!

EDIT: I am fairly certain these are high quality fakes.
