got these off of newegg about two weeks ago for $5 more. I like 'em, they fit snug in my ears, more so than my $60 sony's. I'm not an audiophile so I don't know what incredible head phones sound like, but I know what cheap $20 phones sound like... these are far better than any regular price $20 phone's you'll find.

ALERT" Just got my rebate denial email from PARGO. Said I didn't submit UPC code. Idiots I have photo copy of it stapled to rebate paper.

This rebate has all the signs of massive rebate denial. Can't talk to anyone at 1 866 445 9903, just voice prompts.

Please check the other thread for info on the 2 bar codes on each package and the simple method of getting the problem solved if you submitted the wrong one.

The rebate form says you need to submit original UPC code, not photocopied...

No- He submitted the original, but has a photocopy for his own records

Thanks, yes i sent original upc. Seems i probally seat EAN from package bottom.

I followed directions from other thread and emailed them. Got updated to GOOD after a few hours.

While I like other phones better, these are great for the price. When I see a report of "really poor sound quality" I suspect defective phones or operator error.

i bought some of the creative ep300 something or other, very very similar to these. I didn't like them for a long time put them away in a box then pulled them out eventually when i started biking (too loud for normal phones). I realized I wasn't pushing them in far enough before, once I did that it made all the difference, they sounded a lot better...there was no bass and weak mids before now I got it right.

My point is, give them a while...you'll get used to them probably.
